.... And the greatest of these is Love

We want to thank the 850 friends and fans that were able to make our "going away" party on Feb 2nd. Thank you for the Love: for flying from Texas, driving from California, reappearing after many years of absence, being our friends for many years and taking the stage with us, thank you for your part in what was for us a magical night.

And to ALL of our friends and fans - THANK YOU. You have allowed us into the intimate places of your lives: cars, kitchens, camps, blogs, bedrooms, living rooms, dorm rooms. You have shaped our lives in beautiful ways. Thank you for sharing your lives with us. Though we won't be singing any NEW songs about it for now - may you know Love.

latetuesday.com will continue to be your link and connection to all things Late Tuesday in the next year. We will keep you updated on solo projects and shows for Dana Little (myspace.com/danalittlemusic) and Tara Ward (myspace.com/taraward) as well as anything new the band may release or any appearances.

love, jocelyn, tara and dana

WE'RE GOING AWAY. MORE TO COME

Tonight's 'Going Away Party' is really just that: We're going away for awhile, so before we do, we wanted to say THANKS and GOODBYE to you in person. And it just so happens, we get to share our 'Going Away Party' with friends and bands whose music we can't get enough of.  Nothing could make this night more special, fun, memorable, and bittersweet. More sweet, less bitter.

Keep posted here at late tuesday.com headquarters for more and more updates about our solo and collective musical adventures, recent show photos, news, and more. You know, just because we're going away, doesn't mean that there's not more to come.

thanks thanks thanks,

A LETTER TO YOU ABOUT THIS WEEKEND

Dear _________,

We hope your holiday season is going very well. We've sure missed seeing you lately, since we had one show cancelled and haven't been playing much (at least not in front of people) in the past couple of months. But, THIS is the weekend of SHOWS for us (and you). Since we'll be in Tacoma tonight, Ballard on Friday, and Mill Creek on Saturday, that gives us plenty of opportunity to see you and to wish you "happy holidays" in person. Yes, it's true: if you're looking for a safe place to be caught humming along to christmas songs, you can count on us to sing some holiday melodies for your holiday- humming needs. Enjoy your weekend! Be safe...and be nice to strangers.

Love, Late Tuesday

Winter Wonderland

We're up to our knees (almost literally) in snow in Bellingham but we're getting ready for Wednesday's show at the Nightlight in Bellingham, and looking forward to our trip to Leavenworth this Saturday. Happy (early) holiday season.

BREAKING UP IS HARD TO DO.

You'd think that with our experience in writing breakup songs, the following would be easy for us to write. However, it is not. So, here goes.

After 6-and-a-half fun (really fun) years, 4 full length albums and a Christmas EP,
we have made the decision to break for an indefinite amount of time. To be specific, this will happen towards the end of 2006.

This was a recent - and hard - decision made by the three of us, due to marriage (Jocelyn wants to spend more time with her husband) and health issues. We want you know that we're not saying we'll NEVER play shows together again - because we love playing together - but this does mean that in case you were hoping to see us in concert at least one last time, your best bet is to try and see us before our last show (which will probably be around Januaryish).

We promise to have end-of-the-year show options posted soon. Good shows are popping up all over the place for November and December. Our website will continue to function and be updated with all the latest news as to what each of us (individually) is up to in the wonderful world of music.

For those of you in other states and countries where we never had the chance to visit - we are sorry that we never got to see your lovely faces. Thank you for your support over the miles and years!

Our gratitude goes out to ALL of you who have made this journey of almost 7 years such a grand time in our lives. We truly hope to see you and thank you in person soon.

We'll be sending out more more information about upcoming shows in November and December, and you can always find out what we're up to at latetuesday.com or myspace.com/latetuesday. We will continue to do our best to keep in touch.

Thank you all for being a part of our lives! We wouldn't change these past 6-and-a-half years for anything!
